Daniel Tward wins the best paper award from ShapeSIG at MICCAI 2019.

Daniel Tward recieved the inaugural Shape Special Interest Group best paper award, at the Mathematical Foundations of Computational Anatomy workshop as part of Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Interventions 2019 Conference.

The award recognized the paper "3D Mapping of Serial Histology Sections with Anomalies Using a Novel Robust Deformable Registration Algorithm", which discussed atlas mapping methods for high throughput light microscopy imaging as part of the BRAIN Initiative Cell Census Network.
