A 3D multimodal micron-scale human brain atlas bridging single cell data, neuropathology and neuroradiology
We were awarded funding from the NIH to develop a high resolution brain atlas containing MRI data and serial section histology.
Our proposal was funded for three years of support from the National Institutes of Health.
This project seeks to develop computational tools and algorithms for 3D reconstruction of serial section histology with high resolution post mortem MRI, as well as cell detection and quantification of cell morphology. This project will disseminate human brain compartment and whole brain atlases to the community.
